Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Total Rewards - Benefits Assistant through 1/30/2023 at 11:59 p.m CST.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Process US Benefits invoices using Chevron’s procurement systems, including allocation among multiple benefit cost centers.

  • Process subsidiary life insurance checks for beneficiaries. Support Special Disability payments.

  • Maintain effective working relationships with Procurement, Financial Shared Services, Payroll, Disability Management and third party providers.

  • Order supplies with company purchasing credit card and be responsible for timely reimbursement submittal.

  • Obtain personnel files. Support Benefit Analyst with validating and updating employee service dates.

  • Monitor the US. Benefits general phone line and address or re-direct inquires as appropriate. Direct US Benefits mail to appropriate stakeholders to address.

  • Schedule and log attendees for monthly US New Hire Pay-Benefit webinars.

  • Download and maintain repository of monthly reports.

  • Provide support to Benefits Advisor for the quarterly Vendor Assessment Tool (VAT) survey process. Provide support for Benefit related onsite events such as flu shots and health fairs (i.e. book rooms, secure tables/chairs, etc).

  • Create annual vacation calendar for global Benefits.

  • Provide support to HW and Retirement Teams; may participate in testing Open Enrollment and-or Total Rewards statements, provide documentation for annual Long Term Disability audit.

Overtime may be required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with a procure to pay software (SmartGEP, SAP, JDE, Ariba, etc.)

  • Experience handling confidential information including employee sensitive personal data and protected health information

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize, multitask to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance related field

  • Experience in health and welfare benefits administration/ operations

Relocation Options:

Relocation will not be considered.

International Considerations:

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
